works with MBP Early 2013 Retina version
I have a MacBook Pro Early 2013 Retina which for a while has been giving me battery issues, and won't hold charge long if unplugged, so decided to gamble and buy a new battery for it. This is not OEM, but gets the job done. For me the work I got it to fit was to lined it up correctly where I needed, test it out a few times and then I took out the adhesive from the back and laid it against the Mac softly so I could adjust it left or right as needed to fit the screws toby the connector (the piece that connects the battery to the motherboard). then I added simple pressure to the rest of the pack. Noticed on the pictures that the battery does not cover all the space at the bottom, there is a gap compared to the original battery, however everything else matches up.I did have a bit of trouble getting the connector in, notice your original battery how the connector wires are actually bent to let it fit down, where this , since is new, the connector wires all came straight so at first seems like its he wrong connector or won't fit, but what you have to do is easily bent them down allow it to the connector to fit/click in place ( just take note of how your old battery's connector wire is bent and try to form the shame shame). I used the small plastic stick that came with the package , to help add pressure down to hold the connector wires down while I bent it down with my fingers. Once you get that done and plug it in, no issues.Took about 1hr to full charge. (when I first plugged in it was charged showing at 66%). The instructions recommends you let it drain away to 2% (no 0%) and then do a full charge. Also the battery (as I mentioned above) comes with an adhesive which you remove and makes it stick to the motherboard (above the trackpad), however on top of it there is also a small plastic clear thin film, which you also remove after you are all done, before closing the case.see the pictures of the installed new battery vs my old all swollen battery. On a scale from 1-10 to replace this battery, (1 very easy , 10 very hard), I rate it about a "4" , however removing the old battery itself I rate it a "6". Do be careful when you remove the 2 middle batteries , do it slowly and carefully otherwise you will rip off the metal plate that sits between the trackpad and the battery. I mostly followed the advise of videos I found on line to use a string and put it under and slowly pull/saw left to right to help remove the old battery.

Works Great For My Use
Working Great on this older PC, just used it for a power failure or plug out of the wall so the laptop does not shut down.

Good so far
I bought this for my old Inspiron 1525. It works, and lasts longer than the 6 cell battery does. I expected better from past experience with a 9 cell in a 1525, but it lasts around 3 1/2 hours. The 6 cell lasts about 2 1/4. Once the battery is broke in better, I'm hoping it lasts a little longer. For the price, I've no complaints. Would I buy it again? I don't know yet.The mechanical hard disk has been replaced with an SSD, which uses less power. Soon the CPU will be replaced with a T9300, 2.5ghz CPU that is supposed to use be more powerful while using less energy. It doesn't have the original 45nm CPU in it, but has an older 65nm architecture CPU in it.After I put the newer CPU in, I'll update this if it does help. Meanwhile, the battery is still worthy of 4 stars, because it does last longer than the 6 cell. It, the SSD, and PCLinuxOS help me keep a 14 year old laptop running acceptably.

Perfect but...
Works perfect. Fits great. Easy to install. The color is a little browner/yellower than the white of the original color of the MacBook. Kinda matches the color of the apple logo on the top.

Avoid purchasing
Worked for about a month, but it no longer holds a charge. Laptop only turns on if it’s plugged into the charger and it only stays on for a couple minutes. Would not recommend purchasing this product. Especially with only a 30-day replacement policy.

Charge Cycle is not that long.
It works well, and with a little guidance from tutorials, it was easy to install. My biggest issue with this battery is that its charge cycle is not as long-lasting as that of an original MacBook battery. The MacBook battery's charge cycle is up to 1000. With this one, the charge cycle is limited to 400-500. I bought this a year ago, and my charge cycle count is currently up to 494, and it's already telling me service is recommended for my battery.
