I found it very comfortable on night 1. Usually starting something new like this takes some time to adjust to but I really liked it. I’ve been getting a lot of breakage on the hair around my face so I hope this helps with that. It actually felt great having my hair totally off my face and neck while I slept.I’m not sure if it’s 100% real silk or satin, other reviews have questioned it. It was a good price point and it’s comfortable to wear to me. Another cap I looked at was in the $90 range and all the reviews said it left indents on their skin. This doesn’t have tight elastics around your face and left no marks on my skin.I saw where someone else said their cap had a weird odor. I did not notice that at all & am usually very sensitive to smells.***Editing after wearing a couple times - my hair looks super shiny this morning, the day after washing it. It’s smooth on top rather than having tons of fuzzy flyaways. I think I’m sold!!! Probably buying a second one so I have one to use when the other is in the wash. 🩷🩷

Really am very happy with the gorgeous quality of the silk and the fact the cap is fully lined. I went with the peacock green and the colour is a beautiful jewel-tone deep teal that looks really luxurious. I've only been using it for a week, but I've definitely noticed more manageable curls and less frizz. The cap size works for my smaller head and short hair and stays in place all nightUnfortunately, I've had to wear the cap backwards to bed because of the construction! The back of the cap has a long, bulky seam that sits right at the back of the head when you lie down that genuinely hurts after a few minutes. By turning the cap around, the smoother turban twist is at the back and is much more comfortable to sleep on. unfortunately this puts the elastic gathering at your forehead which isn't super comfortable either, but is at least manageable. The cap could definitely benefit from a redesign that would more evenly distribute the seaming instead of gathering all of the silk into one seam at the back.Might suit strictly side or stomach sleepers, but back sleepers should keep the seam issue in mind when deciding on a cap!

My hair type is very straight, fine, curl resistant. I purchased this bonnet to use for overnight heatless curls, to help balance oil/moisture distribution, and as an alternative to my normal night time hairstyle which is a top knot messy bun which was causing some unwanted breakage and damage from the elastic. From the few times I used this , I did notice my hair was smoother, more manageable, and better, oil distribution (ends more moisturized, roots less greasy). I wash my hair once a week. The closer I get to wash day I transition from wearing my hair down to wearing it up. I was able wear my hair down for longer before transitioning to an updo because my natural scalp oil tended to not settle in my roots as much when I wore the bonnet to bed. It was a good starting point for me to see the benefit , but I think I may need a different style. I see some people said it was too big, and that was definitely not the case for me. Apparently I have a big noggin because it's pretty snug on me. It's tight enough where it affects the overall comfort level when wearing it and then it pushes its way off. So I stopped fiddling with it and quit wearing. If you have a lot of hair and it's thick, this is not the style of bonnet for you. There's not a lot of room in the cap and it fits very close to the head I also don't like my ears covered and I feel like the only way it stays on better is if I brought it down over my ears. I thought maybe I just needed to wash it and kind of break it in , but the overall fit has not changed . This is my first time buying a bonnet, I feel like there's going to be a little bit of a learning curve and some getting used to it. But I think I just need a different style/ size/shape bonnet. I will try again.

I was nervous when I saw it advised against using this with “extremely voluminous hair.” Well, they weren’t lying, it would have to be EXTREMELY voluminous not to fit. I have a large head that always takes large to extra large hats, and very voluminous hair. It still fits perfect, keeping my curls soft and secure without crushing them or leaving any indents, and it’s snug enough not to slip off in the night without giving me a headache from compression. The pure silk is the only material of sleep wrap I’ve used that genuinely leaves no frizz, as well. Quality product that is worth the price, the packaging is perfect because, yeah, “spoil yourself” is right
