We bought this for a sofa table to charge our phones. It works well. There are 2 different types of USB chargers 2 charge iPhone and the others charge android.

Love the functionality of this power strip. It was easy to install and has all of the usbs and plug ports you would ever need.I installed into our pull out mantle to be able to charge the kids kindles/iPads and any and all game controllers. Would definitely buy again and have recommend to friends and family.

Works well. Easy install. Has a ton of USb ports and standard plugs. Used it for a night stand. Love it. I'll be getting another one for the other night stand now.

Purchased in April and installed in July as part of an office renovation (under-shelf mount on my desk). Soon after installing it, I went to plug in a small AC fan, and the plug "popped" and started to smoke briefly from the neutral side (the longer slot of the two). Something obviously had shorted to hot and scorched the plug. However, the strip still works - including that particular plug, so I figured it was a piece of random solder or other metallic debris. Function-tested all plugs with my fault detector and a meter - everything seemed fine, so I chalked it up to a random piece of debris. Today (September 11), I plugged in the same fan to another of the outlets - "pop" and smoke a second time! There is obviously something internally misaligned just enough to cause a short when inserting a plug. I am now uninstalling and trashing it (It is NOT an issue with the fan - I have plugged the fan into a dozen other outlets with no issue whatsoever. I used this plug strip exactly TWICE and both times it popped).
