Ghost in the Shell Motoko Kusanagi SAC 2nd GIG

Fantastic PVC model. Love this particular outfit on Motoko Kusanagi, the colors of her hair and outfit perfectly frame her face. This model has become my new posing model for practicing my artwork. I listen to "Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone" CD music from the anime series as I sketch from the model. As a professional artist, models can be expensive and not hold a pose for more than a few minutes.Only negative feedback is that the included round plastic stand, with pegs for model's feet, is useless as feet and pegs don't align to hold the figure up. I tossed the base and made my own. Also, WARNING: the legs can be snapped off. I tried to move the legs a bit to see if I could position the figure on the included round plastic stand. A big mistake! One leg snapped off. Fortunately, I am a master model maker and sculpter and I fixed the snapped leg. If a leg snaps off for you, don't panic. It can be "pegged" with a tiny straight pin as the leg is hollow inside. Used superglue on both ends of the leg, also on the pin, insert one end of tiny pin in hallow of one leg, then gently bring pinned leg up to other hollow of leg. Once "flush" together, support model upside down and wait 24 hours for superglue to "dry/cure." Voila! Your model is ready to stand and pose once again!

I have had this statuette of the Major for five years now. This was my first figurine in my collection. Beautiful and well painted. The only articles of concern are the right leg (the master mold seems to have been slightly flawed for an unnatural position of the lower leg (it is slightly twisted, as noted by other buyers)), the stand's stubs for placement (one of them too small for the hole in the right heel), and the pistol (for as much as I paid, it comes off a little cheap).Otherwise, I am happy with this.

There is only a word to describe this figure: fantastic. Above all Motoko figures I have seen, this one has the most detailed and expressive face, a nice violet hair and well applied colors for the body and clothes. The only objection is that her feet holes don't fit properly in the two stand pegs, but it is not a problem because it holds up with only one foot attached to the stand.

This figure is very well made had some trouble attaching the base but that is a good thing it fits nice and snug very ridged just what I like

great.... Beautiful and breath taking is what comes to mind when discribing this pvc figure, if you are a Ghot in the Shell fan , then this pvc is must have for you ...... the details are simply amazing Motoko never looked any sexier !!!

Very nicely detailed figure of the iconic Major Motoko from Shirow's manga & anime, Ghost in the Shell. Less overtly sexy than some Japanese female figurines, this one is a foursquare, matte black and gray military figure with purple hair. Very cool.
