Flex Slim Flexible Universal Motorcycle Helmet Chin Mount Kit Bendable Silicone Compatible with GoPro Hero 12, 11, 10, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360, SJCAM, Xiaomi Yi Action Cameras (Black)

I bought this mount for an Arai Corsair-x helmet with a matte paint scheme and found to fit fairly well. I didn’t use the adhesive primer as I feared it would damage the paint job since it smelled like some kind of thinner so I used 70% alcohol instead. After allowing the alcohol to dry I removed the peel from the adhesive on the mount and placed it where I wanted. I had woodworking clamps ready to apply pressure on mount. I didn’t tighten the clamp all that much but enough to firmly mold the mount to the curvature of the helmet. I then let it sit for 24 hours before removing the clamps.I have since mounted a dji osmo 5 pro without issue and have ridden on highways with minimal wind protection and haven’t noticed the mount loosening or otherwise becoming unstable. I haven’t ridden in rain but from my experience with VHB and similar adhesives, as long as you thoroughly clean your surface and allow enough curing time then it should stay put.As far as aesthetics go, it definitely detracts from my helmet design but the build quality is sturdier than the chin mounts one. I would also appreciate if the prongs that screw onto the camera mounts or go pro extensions were matte black like the dji and insta360 ones instead of the outdated glossy ones from yesterday’s go pros. It also uses the old shiny dome nut that go pro mounts use that make it look really outdated and flimsy. It’s not mind you but a change to dji’s or insta 360’s flush brushed metal nut would make the product look truly premium.I will update this review if I notice anything else in the future but if I don’t you can assume it’s been an excellent product.

This product is absolutely fantastic and works great, the big problem for me is my AGV K3 has an awkward divot where the mount should go. This causes the mount to not have a perfect seal along that area. For the time that I've used it the hold has been golden but I just dont want to keep risking it with my GoPro so I have to turn to an alternative, which is a shame because this product is great.

This product works very well! I scanned the QR code and watched the install vid to get the most secure connection. I’ve had no issues so far and the footage from my DJI Osmo Action 5 comes out great! The angle from the mount is perfect to capture the bars and surroundings. I waited a few weeks to test out the product before writing a review. I’d recommend it!The mount seems very secure and I feel confident riding with the camera attached that it won’t fall off. It’s very easy to conform the mount to fit any contour. The mount is very low profile and I don’t even notice the camera while riding. I recommend only applying the primer to the area the mount will attach to or you will end up with streaks.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this with the assurance it would work in my Shoei GT AIR 2 helmet. I went to install it, as as much as this mount bends to fit, my helmet chin area has a bend in it the doesn't allow this to mount flush without the chance of leaving a slight gap. I tried moving it up slightly and down...it would look like would work in one area but then not in another. Don't want to chance either of my $300+ GoPros to this. Great idea as a sticky mounts goes, actually probably the best idea, but just don't see this working great with my style helmet.

Very tidy and clean install on a Shoei Neotec 2. I added a very small patch of Velcro under the open button to give the center of the mount something to adhere to. It was a tiny bit too wide there. The steel core allows the mount to be pre-bent to match the helmet contour. Very nice product. Much better than my previous mount

Solid mount for my Bell Lithium (MIPS) helmet. Sits right above the switch to open the vent on the front and does not block anything including opening my lid. My only complaint is you must tighten the screw down very tightly to stay in place and im worried that will wear out fairly quickly. I use a DJI Osmo Action 4. It fits and works currently with no problem.

Product quality is much higher than expected when ordering. For the cost, I thought I would be getting something I would most likely have to replace every year or so.Came with clear instructions and alcohol wipes along with primer which was nice I didn't have to dig through my garage to find my own. Very happy with my purchase. Bigger bonus points that it was available next day delivery.
