LOVE IT!!!
I just started getting into video shooting, editing, and posting to social media. Gimbal wise in the last 6 months I started with the beginners selfie stick, next was the u shaped gimbal, now I think I reached the peak for now with this amazing product !It's perfect for what we shoot whether it's stationary or holding it moving around. I didn't know what to expect but for $100 i expected a lot and they did not disappoint. I sure wasn't expecting a robotic arm with full on controls! I was just looking for something extra stable which is where i came across these 3 axis gimbals. The device had a learning curve that was easy to overcome and once I figured out the device after 45 minutes I was shooting top quality vids. Easy to setup, easy to connect to Bluetooth, extra extra stability, and it's all around great. If you're looking for low end-professional this is your product. Give it a shot if you're curious, you'll love it too

A Gimbal with a Mind of its Own (updated 12/22/22)
Updated review on 12/22/22After playing around with the gimbal and its proprietary app for a while and putting it to its first true test on 12/20/22, I’m here to report that it passed with flying colors. While there are a few features that I’d like for the developer to add with future updates, such as better zoom and the ability to use it fully on other camera apps, it got the job done at a concert. Had I just held the phone by itself, my hands would’ve been shaking, but the gimbal not only made it easier to hold, it stopped most, if not all, of the shaking. It seems odd that the battery life would drain, at least from my perspective, rather quickly when not in use, but whatever. Pick it up and play around with it.[Original review below](The following review is based on its initial use; review may be updated if there is something more to add.)The gimbal works…sort of. It has the tendency to do the opposite of what I’m trying to do. It’s as if it’s set to inverted control settings which doesn’t help during those crucial moments. Plus the manufacturer states that it supports the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it does, but I’m guessing because of its weight, the mount causes the phone to drift down. The light on the gimbal runs hot, and I mean DANGEROUSLY HOT! Best to leave it off. I haven’t tested out the overall battery life, I will update my review once I play around with the gimbal a bit more. Unfolding the stabilizer is easy, but when folding it, it makes me nervous because I have no idea whether or not the sheer force needed to fold it will cause the stabilizer to break off the gimbal. As for the app, I wish the gimbal wasn’t so dependent on the app cuz the app itself needs a lot of work. When I first started it, it was in vertical mode when I had the phone horizontally. And the settings are somewhat limited. You can’t use the zoom pushrod on the phone with other camera apps, so you run the risk of knocking the phone off its axis when you have to touch the phone to zoom in or out. If the gimbal itself allowed users to use any apps they desired instead of being dependent on this app, it would be so much better.Overall (so far), this particular gimbal is not too shabby for what I paid for it, but it needs a lot of work. I don’t know if this gimbal is capable of firmware updates, but if it does, I hope the manufacturer will push an update that’ll make it more user friendly with apps outside its proprietary app. Otherwise, you may be better off spending a bit more money on a more user friendly gimbal.

Aochuan XPro is a great gimbal for the money (if you can get it on sale $70)
This is my 3rd gimbal for my iPhone, I have a 2 axis "pocket gimbal" and a more advanced 3 axis but was looking for something a bit smaller. The base price of this unit was $100 but there was 30% off coupon at check out so I figured I would give it a try.Bottom line: Well worth $70.The Good:1. The XPro model uses standard replaceable 18650 Li batteries. THIS IS A HUGE DEAL. These batteries are cheap and since technically you are not allowed to check battery items on airplanes, you can remove the batteries (keep with you on your carry on bag) and put the gimbal in your check luggage.2. Build quality is solid.3. The app is simple -- it is just right for what I need (this is not the gimbal if you want all sorts of advanced features) .4. The hand gestures all worked fine (in a limited test environment) start, stop, track etc.5. LCD screen for status (pan modes, battery etc) again simple but effective.6. For a 3 axis gimbal this size and weight seems pretty good (420 grams).7. It has a built in light & wireless charging so if you are on a long shoot and your phone dies provided you have extra 18650 batteries you should be able to work all day (in theory, not tested) without having to wait for charging the phone or the gimbal. The Bad:1. The gimbal will not work with bigger phones, I have an iPhone 15 Pro and it barely fits (like 1-2mm clearance) with the case on. no way will the iPhone Pro Max phone fit (with or without a case).

There is a learning curve
I was already to return the product until I found a good tutorial on youtube. It is actually a review but the guy goes througn most of the settings. The gimbal was not following me very well right out of the box. It had an unacceptable lag and I thought it was broken. But there are some things that must be done before you get the proper use out of it.1. First, the balancing is very important. I have 2 phones and they do not balance perfectly up and down but is close.2. to track you, it is best to start in the app and then use the joystick to line up your face to where you want it, then press the face icon.3. If it is lagging like mine was, turn on the gimbal, press the for circles in the bottom left => gimbal settings => parameter settings. Here, you will want to change the follow-up speed and min. Movement. For close-ups, I had to move the slide bar on both all the way to the right.Make sure you are in L for following your face as seen on the many videos out there. The video I found was by the TheOneCanoe.I do not know why so many companies put good products out there with miserable instructions and videos. If this company has good vids, they are not easy to find, even on youtube.
