VandorenJUNO Alto Saxophone Reeds, Strength 3, Box of 10, JSR613

My granddaughter is a 4th grader in first year band playing saxophone. She said the reeds are of high quality and she plays better, although that could be the practices. She said I could them again.There was an extra day in delivery due the USPS, and NOT Amazon.

It's good for the price.

I wasn’t sure at first until I tried them. I am a beginner on the saxophone and these reads are so nice easy and have a great soundThese reads are now my number one go to Reeds in my saxophone case. If you haven’t tried them, you should give them a shot well worth it.

Per my daughter's band teacher suggestion, we bought 2.5 Vandoren reeds. My daughter is 11 and she is just learning, so when I learned on my research that kids should start with sizes 1.5 or 2.0, I was concerned.But he should know better I thought, so we bought the Vandoren 2.5 traditional ones. Two days later, I found these in my Amazon suggestions, and I learned the Juno model 2.5 is equivalent to the 1.5 -2.0 traditional Vanderen. Suddenly, everything made sense! It seems she can play better with the Juno now. She will ugrade to the traditional reeds with time. My only concerm, is that the Juno company, noth in their website and here in Amazon, is not very newbie-friendly on their descriptions. A comparative chart among different models of reeds could help us tremendously.

I have tried many other brands, so far, Vandoren has the best reeds.

These are good reeds for beginner saxophonists. Especially if you rotate them when you play. You will extend their lifespan. We mark each package with a number for each reed so we don't lose track of which was the last used.

Ho comprato queste ance perché ho trovato una super-offerta a 16€ e non avevo molte pretese. In realtà, sono ottime anche con la solita qualità altissima delle Vandoren. Le trovo molto reattive in punta, facilissime da suonare e danno un suono paragonabile alle Rico standard (almeno nel mio caso). Ho preso forza 2 ma le avrei provate molto volentieri anche più leggere, in alcuni brani altissimi potrebbero essere di grande aiuto.
