Not sure where the other reviewers are having trouble with leaks. put this unit in a 4000 sf warehouse with 25' open roof. it brings the humidity from 80 to 40 in 24 hours and shuts off. Keeps my car collection dry, got rid of the musty old car smell. Loved it so much i bought another one for my other 2000 sf garage, and got the same results. no problems with either, they have been plugged in for over a year .

Works like a pro! I've rented some of the larger, more powerful dehu's for water remediation before and this one does the same job. May take a little longer but it's a terrific work horse at a great price for a very important job.

Worked great in the beginning. I had read the bad reviews about it leaking, but when I set it up I saw that the hose just takes some work to get it correctly connected and leaking immediately stopped leaking, so I thought I was in the clear. Wrong. 8 months into owning it, it’s now leaking from the bottom all over, so it’s constantly sitting in a puddle. I would not buy again!

Our experience so far has been less than optimal. We ordered this dehumidifier in late April and when we unpacked it and plugged it in, it did not turn on. We than requested a replacement and repackaged the dehumidifier. It was picked up about 3 days after the requested return date and we have been waiting for the replacement now for over two weeks.

we too purchased many of these and similar units one leaked and we thought was broken but the drain plug was unplugged and if it leaked it was working just didnt hold water well that drain plug needs to be put in.

I bought this item to help with the flooding and dampness in my basement, but it leaks. I spent over a thousand dollars to help fix a bad situation, instead it just made it worse. I will be returning the unit.
