Only had it a few days but I love it
I wanted an ereader to easily throw in my purse. My Boox Page is a bit too large for my bag so this was the perfect compromise. It has a lot of features but honestly I was only interested in this for reading. If you want, you can also watch media and listen to music. It is basically a cell phone but without the cellular data plan. This is only slightly smaller than the iPhone 16 Pro Max so it's still a great size but much nicer to read on. It's also a bit thinner than a phone. This is very comparable in function to the Boox Page. Screen looks really nice and clear and its highly responsive. Dark mode in Neoreader is also really nice on this device. Ghosting isn't a problem for me at all so far. It is on the pricier end for such a small ereader, but it can do a lot. Depending on your usage, I do think it's worth it.I don't think that I have any complaints so far on the actual device. I'm deep into the Boox ecosystem so it was easy for me to figure out how to customize the Palma to my needs. If you're new to Boox, you may need to play around a bit or watch some videos to find what works best for you. Straight out of the box, it didn't seem to need too much tweaking though.

Palma 2, it's Worth It 😄
I LOVE the Boox Palma 2.Since I just received it yesterday, I'm still in the fiddly stage of things, but the screen is incredible and there are so many ways in which it can be customized that it's incredible. While I'm an Apple Nerd, I thought that the Android 13 experience would be a difficult transition to make in my head, but it's really not at all. It's as easy to use as you want it to be. You can keep the stock interface or customize it as much as you'd like.I haven't really sat down to ACTUALLY read on it yet other than skimming Reddit articles, but the text is so clear that I know that I'm going to enjoy reading ebooks on it as well.

Great smaller eink reader. Lots of flexibility.
This has been a great reading device. I really enjoy the flexibility of having Android on there and all the available things to have access to. The refresh rate is good, you can tweak it as you like. I really like the form factor.

Practical Reader
I was always taking my kindle everywhere with me but my purses kept getting smaller and smaller so I decided to give this a try. The price is a little pricey but I like the fact that I can download not only kindle but libby, nook and etc. I love that I personalize it and that it syncs to my kindle when it connects to wifi so when I pick up my kindle it knows exactly where I left off on my Palma.

Terrible Support and Device Quality
Loved the device when it worked. However, the screen stopped working only 3.5 months after purchasing the device. It was never dropped, exposed to water and was in the Boox protective case I bought alongside the device. After reaching out to support for the screen no longer working, they informed me that screens are not included in the warranty and if I wanted it fixed, I’d have to pay ~$125 to ship it back to them.I find it absolutely ridiculous that a device that cost ~$300 hasn’t lasted four months, and that I’m expected to pay nearly half the cost of the original device to have it repaired.I’m no new user to e-ink devices and have had multiple Kindles and Kobos for over a decade without issue. I should have never replaced my Kobo with this device - this has been the worst customer support I have received by far.If I do get it repaired, I’m absolutely selling it as soon as I get it back so I can go back to Kobo or another platform. This was a terrible mistake.

Worth the splurge
I’m absolutely in love with the Boox Palma 2 so far and have already gotten so many compliments and questions from friends! After reading up a lot about it before officially buying it, I decided to buy this on Amazon instead of direct for the peace of mind of getting a protection plan. I love how it’s small enough to fit in my pocket with my phone, but still the perfect size for reading. I don’t have a case yet and it feels pretty sturdy, but I may invest in one soon just in case. The battery hasn’t died since I bought it almost a week ago, so that’s pretty great! I was worried about the price, since it’s pretty expensive for an e-reader, but I don’t regret splurging on it at all. I do somewhat wish I bought the white version but I do really love the black.

Great device for accessing various e-book and e-audiobook platforms
I use this specifically for my many apps to access books and audiobooks. Understanding that this device is e-ink technology will help with realistic expectations.I enjoy it because I can toggle between my different reading apps, and don’t need to carry multiple e-readers. I can also play audiobooks from the speaker or with headphones (via Bluetooth connection). It’s my main device when listening to audiobooks with Libby, Hoopla, CloudLibrary, and Audible. Which means I don’t need to have my phone on me, so I limit distractions. I’ve been more productive without the temptation to scroll through videos on my phone.I have no regrets with this purchase.
