Beautifully smelling
Lovely & ecofriendly set, containing refillable outside metal bottle with 3 refills of body wash. Each body wash is clear in colour with runny honey texture and different scent. But each one smells divine.Lathering ok and cleans well. Leaving skin soft however slightly dry after first few uses.Perfect as a gift.Bit pricey but a little goes a long way. Thumbs up.

Very nice, a bit expensive
I like these alot, like the idea of less plastic however more choice and individual bottles for sale on amazon would be better.

Great scents and biodegradable bottles
The main unique selling point of this set is the fact the bottles containing the body wash contain no plastic instead being made up of 70% bamboo starch with the remaining 30% made of plant starch left over from agricultural waste making them very eco friendly and making them fully biodegradable in garden compost or household waste.Aside from their eco credentials the fragrances smell great without being too strong, subtle and pleasant with a lasting effect and moisturising quality to add to the appeal. Each bottle is 350ml and should last around a month as a little goes a long way so with this set you're looking at about £8 a month if you buy the 3 packs of refills on Amazon, you can buy individual bottles for a little less, around £6 in supermarkets and we found a very pleasant coconut one to add to the collection so not bad value for the quality of product and the fact you're reducing landfill plastic and transport miles with the product being made in the UK.

Wild Natural Refillable Body Wash Starter Kit
This body wash starter kit from Wild includes a pretty bee print aluminium and recycled plastic case and 3 shower gel refills - one Honey and Almond, one Fresh Cotton and Sea Salt and finally one Cherry Blossom. The wild brand is very much predicated on their environmental credentials and the refill bottles are made from a renewable and biodegradable material called vivomer so after use they can be disposed of by composting or by recycled collection.I have been using these shower gels twice a day for almost 4 weeks and the first full bottle has just finished. For the purposes of this review, I started with the honey and almond scented gel which was definitely my favourite and one I will buy again. I swapped it out for several days to use the cherry blossom and then fresh cotton and sea salt. I did not like the cherry blossom fragrance at all and was not that impressed with the fresh cotton and sea salt (usually one of my favourite scents in candles etc) either. Having said that, everyone has different tastes so what I didn’t like might be another person’s favourite. The gels themselves lathered well and the honey and almond scented product was a pleasure to use. I am pleased to note that I could buy that variety from Wild direct online as it is not yet available on Amazon. Given the longevity of each bottle – approx. 4 weeks – and the environmental credentials, this Wild starter kit is reasonable value for money, when compared to similar brands, and I will continue to use the honey and almond gel as my new go to shower gel. 4*

Great starter kit
The packaging is nice and all plastic free as far as I can tell and as far as I can tell. The body wash pump itself feels solid and looks really nice. The design is a bit raised so you can feel the bees which is nice imo. The inside of the body wash container isn't decorated in a ny way which at this price is a little disappointing but perfectly fine as it's not like you see that part normally anyway. The size is perfectly good but for the price a bit expensive although for a more niche product that has it's main focus on being environmentally friendly it's more acceptable and isn't ridiculous.

Great quality shower gels with wonderful scents, but a bit pricey to get started
This Wild body wash starter kit set comes nicely presented in entirely plastic-free packaging, and would make an ideal gift. In the box are the three shower gels which come in compostable bottles, and the metal bottle case with pump which unscrews open so you can pop a bottle in and out. One thing I would have liked is a simple guide or diagram inside the lid of the box showing how the bottles go inside the bottle case; at first I assumed it was just actually bottle which you'd empty the shower gel refills into. Obviously their solution is much more sensible with less hassle and wastage, but a short guide for those who aren't familiar with this product page or the Wild website would be helpful, especially if giving the set as a gift. Each of the three included shower gel refills smell great, the scents are rich and pleasant without being overpowering. They foam up into a really nice soapy lather too, and I've found I need to use far less of it on a sponge than with other brands I usually use like Original Source. A single refill should last a decent amount of time, though it's obviously difficult to know how much is left as the bottles aren't transparent. The bottles themselves look plastic at first glance, but the paper labels on them will tell you they're actually made from something called Vivomer, which will entirely break down when composted or can be thrown into the general waste where it will decompose safely over time. A neat solution and much better than dealing with refill pouches etc that only reduce plastic use rather than remove plastic entirely.I think the main issue is the cost, £37 for a shower gel starter kit (this specific set includes a bottle case with a fancier design, but there are cheaper ones available) is quite steep. I'm not the usual target market for this type of premium product but a brief search online brings up other natural/refillable products for about the same price, some slightly cheaper and some even higher and most of those appear to still use a lot of plastic packaging. On that basis, the price is probably fair given the effort Wild have gone to in developing products with no plastics while using good-quality natural ingredients.Unfortunately once my three bottles run out it's unlikely I'll continue with it as £24 for three refill bottles is too steep for me. There is a subscription plan on the Wild website which brings it down to £5.80 per bottle if you order three, but that's still considerably more than I'd usually spend on shower gel. That said, I respect the quality of the products and the effort they've put into making it genuinely as eco-friendly and naturally-sourced as possible and if that's a priority for you, I think you'll be pleased.
