I have a 2020 Ford Transit XLT Cargo Van with the factory nav system, that has wired car play android auto capability. The in car USB ports have failed more than once and the experience was still sluggish and unreliable. I added this. It sits with an extended mount directly above the original display from the windshield. The configuration completely eliminated view of any wires and looks very professional and is functional as well. Everything goes through android auto through my phone wirelessly and the Bluetooth audio and phone calls still use the cars built in Bluetooth. All steering wheel controls work. You can also use the existing screen to make phone calls and still adjust tracks and music. Cheaper than getting it fixed again. Now more reliability with more features like wireless connectivity. You can keep your phone in your pocket and it just works. Spotify and maps resume. The camera records video constantly unless powered down. The unit will not power down on its own unless your accessory socket goes dead when you turn off the car. Manually turning it on and off should you choose is a non issue. It boots and connects in 5 - 10 seconds max. Greatly exceeded my expectations. Was intended to be a compromise but the end result was the opposite. I got the best of both now. In the past FM modulation was terrible. I don't know what they did here. Impressive.

This is a really great product. It's easy to start & assemble. It's sturdy and the camera is very clean/clear. The only issue that I really have is that when I have the aux plugged in. The music still plays through the carplay system. Anyone know how to turn that off? Lol. If I can figure that out, ill change to 5 stars

This unit works exactly as advertised. It's perfect for my wife. She is a delivery driver with a 2017 Subaru Outback with the Starlink system - but no Android Auto or Car Play. This little screen was the perfect solution for her! It works as it should, connects wirelessly to her phone as soon as she starts the vehicle, calls sound clear, bluetooth audio is good quality, and she's able to use Google maps for navigation. She likes that it has a dashcam - just in case.Installation was fairly simply. It includes multiple mounting options, but the one that worked best for her car was using the suction cup to attach to the windshield. I tucked the wires in between the radio trim and the dash, and you can barely tell they are there.My only regret is that I didn't buy the PRO version with dual bluetooth so it could connect to the factory radio wirelessly and display song info there, but that's a small gripe. If you have a vehicle that doesn't have Android Auto / Carplay, and is either difficult to replace the radio or you don't want to spend much money, this little unit is perfect.

Is great addition works great with Uconnect to update my outdated system with carplay afor love cost and no installation, easily hooks up with bluetooth to my apple phone!!

An inexpensive fix for cars without Carplay. Quality is better than expected. I let my phone connect to it via Bluetooth, the use an audio cable to go into the vehicles audio in port. Mounting this will be a challenge, the CD mount that I ordered with this wasn't an acceptable solution. Two different solutions are in the box, but I didn't like either so ended up building my own.

We’ve had this for about a week and really like the features. This is the second Carpuride we purchased as the back up camera did not work on the first one. We had several calls and emails back and forth with a representative with Carpuride, but decided to return the whole thing and ask for a replacement. The second one worked right out of the box. We have a smaller size SUV and mounted the backup camera on the hatch door on the license plate holder. The wire running from the camera to the front of the car to the dash is really not long enough to conceal the wire nicely in the trim moulding of the car, so be prepared for that if you have a longer vehicle. I believe you can get an extension piece for the wiring. Also be sure to unplug the unit every time you arrive at your destination or you might come out to a dead battery.

Great product. The screen itself is a solid size, the device pairs nicely with Bluetooth, the dash cam works great, and the touch screen is responsive and looks sharp. My only gripe is that I wish it came with additional adhesive pads that stick directly onto a cars dashboard, or if they sold them separately as well.
