Great mystery blemished slightly by derogatory treatment of a Jewish character. Typical of post WWI attitudes, I guess we inadvertently learn some history along the way.

This kindle e-book novel is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 6 ofHercule Poirot is on a train where a murder occurs. He becomes involved in the investigation which puts the wrong person in prison. His continued asking of questions leads to the truth and arrest of the killer.As fan of Agatha Christie I would recommend this series and author to fans of Agatha Christie and readers of British mystery novels. 2024

Always pleasantly entranced by Poirot's sense of drama and command. Definitive characters, short and sweet. The perfect plane, and especially, train companion, to excersize your little Grey cells.

So glad to have read the original as published by Agatha Christie. The film adaption is a sorry excuse as it fails to include so much of the story. This story is carefully crafted so as to avoid any spoilers or clues for the reader to guess the solution early.

Poirot is asked by the French police to assist them when there is a murder on the Blue Train. A new heiress is also on the Blue Train and has a conversation with the victim before she is killed. How Poirot discovers the real murderer and unmasks the duo who carry out the murder mskes for a enthralling read. Really enjoying this series and Christie is a master. I, again, did not figure out the reasl killer.

Let me just say that I like the book, but the kindle version I have read has several flaws in lining paragraphs which in turn made my reading hell sometimes.However, this technical flaw cannot divert my attention from the main reason why evaluate this book with 3 stars only: although a good book overall, with compelling story I did not feel glued to it. The last twist was really a nice and well thought twist, but these kind of books should give me the sensation that I am also part of the investigation. I had it with other books, even if way outside the right track to discover the assassin.Nevertheless, still recommend this book, although please be aware of some technical flaws for peoples reading on kindle.

Another amazing book by Agatha. She was an excellent writer, and her books never disappoint. It is not easy solving her mysteries, which 6 me love her books more.

Classic Agatha Christie whodunit! I say classic, because her style and intrigue are just that. But each tale - the Blue Train included - brings a fresh set of characters and circumstances. She does have you wondering - or at least Poirot has you wondering - who the criminal is right to the end. Most likely, its not who you believe it to be.Pick up this book for total entertainment.
