Abbott Collection LG Rect"Butter" Cv'd Dish-7.5"L

I was looking for a dish that held a pound of butter and fit into the butter compartment in a sub-zero fridge. After several attempts I got this dish. PERFECT. Just what I needed and easy to clean. Solid and well made. Just don't drop it. It would hurt.

I really like this butter dish, its is heavy glass and it came very quickly.

This is not fit for purpose. It’s a very pretty box with a really nice weight to it but you have to cut a couple of millimetres of butter off one side of a pound block for the lid to sit on the saucer and not just get stuck partway down the block. I’m returning this and haven’t checked the measurements on the dish vs the so I don’t know where the fault lies but you can’t rely on this fitting any pound of butter. For reference, I’ve tried it with Rolling Meadow, Natrel, and No Name pound blocks but none fit.

Okay it was expensive considering it was a butter dish. But I like that design and style so I accepted the price. It's excellent quality it's definitely not some cheap butter dish and it looks fantastic!

It’s a really nice looking butter box, but unfortunately too small for a pound of butter.Butter gets stuck to the side and it gets messy real quick .
