This Minecraft kit is a great gift for fans of the franchise. It's a nice change from the usual plastic gifts you can buy and offers a more eco friendly alternative.The kit consists of 16 cardboard sheets with various cutouts that fold together to make 4 characters. You don't need glue, scissors or tape, just a bit of patience, especially for some of the more fiddly cut out bits.It comes with very simple to follow instructions that are all pictures which means it is great for kids of all ages to follow, even those who cannot read. This meant that my 5 year old could easily make these himself with only a bit of help from myself.It took him about 20 minutes per character, but it can be done much faster as I did one in about 10.The cardboard is quite thick so it is very sturdy once built. Some parts interlock in a way that require a bit of force which does crease the cardboard a bit and means that you can't remove it once in place (or certainly not without ripping it) meaning they can't really be flattened for storage once built.The characters are 10 inches tall once built and have moveable parts which is great.I would say they are more decorative than an actual toy to play with but look great and provide a great activity to make them.Overall these are a good gift for Minecraft fans and are easy to assemble meaning children can do it independently. I would recommend.

My son loves papercraft, he really enjoyed building these, they are well made, a lot larger than your average papercraft builds and good value for money. Would recommend

Minecraft is still going strong, and the kids still love the game and all the peripherals that you can get from activity books to LEGO. This 'Bladez Minecraft Make Your Own Zombie Attack Kit' is something different again. A flat pack cardboard set that you push out and put together to make four large characters including the main two heroes and two variations of zombie mob.The pack is sold as plastic free and that is a wonderful thing. There are advantages to the cardboard, it allows for much bigger characters for a cheaper price. The quality of the card is great, and the colour fixing is brilliant. The fact that the Minecraft characters are blocky means that they are perfect for the cardboard look with its 90-degree angles.Setting up the toys is tricky, and this makes it a craft session. Get the family around the table and build them together. The results are impressive, if a little unwieldy. I am not sure what to do with four Minecraft cardboard figures, they do not store as well as the plastic toys and never unfold the same as they were. For now, we have them on top of the children's bookcase and they look like fun ornaments.

Unhappy about the state of the item, was no opportunity to contact the seller just had to buy an overpriced replacement. Wasn't allowed to post the first review giving more details.

Brought for an 8yr old family member. He loved putting them together and playing with them. Some bits were a little fiddly to get together and the sheets could do with marking more obviously which character they belonged to but all in all a great kit!
