Could be improved
I got this yesterday, washed and dried it, and filled it with honey today. The good: I didn't want any breakable glass containers, so I'm happy with the clear parts of this dispenser, which are the container and the base. The bad: 1) The cap is made of plastic that was painted in silver to make it look like metal, and does not seem too sturdy - it reminds me of cheap toys that are painted to look like chrome. 2) Also, the handle is placed so close to the container that I can only get the first knuckles of two fingers around it (and I have small hands!). 3) A better design for the small white stopper would have been to attach it to the neck of the drip hole, so as not to lose it. It's so small that I'm sure it will go missing soon. 4) After dispensing honey, it's not easy to put the stopper back into the drip hole without making a mess in your hands, because the stopper is designed to go inside the very small drip hole which is filled with honey after dispensing. A better design would have been for the stopper to cover the drip hole instead of being inserted into it.I do agree that this dispenser is overpriced, considering the poor quality. Let's see how it holds up.

We filled it with syrup instead of honey which the description says is ok. But it just leaks out the bottom. There’s a plug which seems toJust be for filling because it doesn’t fit when put together. There are no instructions. The plastic is thin and cheap looking.

Not recommended.
I will be returning this item. It feels and looks cheap; the plastic is thin and seems brittle. The action of the handle is jerky and difficult. In addition to be very disappointed with the item I also think it is over-priced.

Nice concept. The rubber stopper is small and essential for operation. We lost it quickly (it’s the size of a blueberry) and had to use a wet paper towel when loading the container with hot syrup to prevent the liquid from escaping through the bottom. This could have been easily avoided if the base provided had been designed to occlude the free end of the dispenser (that would have been so easy to do). Instead the tight handle of the dispenser has to be rotated half turns (as your hand gets in the way of the handle) until it is free. This morning, on our attempted fourth use, the syrup had dried by the top and it became impossible to open in order to refill. I would say that half of the woes are design flaws, and the other half are cheap plastic construction. Live and learn I guess. Two images: 1) picture of bottom. When you remove top to refill, the entire shaft goes up and any syrup left is drained. If you like warm syrup in your pancakes, this might pose a challenge. 2) picture of top. You need to turn this plastic top two turns to remove cap while holding the botttle firmly. This means that you have to lift your hand in order to complete an entire revolution.

I did not need the rubber shipping stopper
They work great for my syrup and honey. I wonder why people think you need to use the stopper when it seals completely and drip free without it?

The top of the lid is plastic and breaks easily. When syrup is poured the handle gets stuck closed and the syrup does not come out. Worthless!!!

Doesn’t work, save your money
This product was a cheap knock off. I ended up returning it. The button would get stuck and the stopper wouldn’t reach the bottom of the plastic jar even when closed
