I rode 3400 miles before writing this review
It works as advertised. You get access to carplay or Android auto, but there are few quirks you need to work around. Nothing serious, but for some reason it's not switching to night mode when the phone does, so you have to push that button manually on the main screen. Many people complain about having intermittent connection issues. I did too on the first day, here's how I solve it. Hardwire it directly to the battery instead of plugging into a USB port or similar. The unit lacks any kind of capacitor, so as soon as you interrupt power, it resets. Could have been sold with a 50 cent part, but they chose not to include that. Annoying, but avoidable. Also make sure you tighten the connection screw on the back, preferably with loctite. That entire system is a failure point, keep it all in one piece and just remove entire unit from the bike if you need to do that. Don't disconnect screen from the cradle and you won't have that issue. It is fairly waterproof, so that rating checks out. Also more responsive with gloves than my phone screen, which is a huge Plus.If you bookmark it and wait for clearance or sale you can get it for under $100, like I did. This product is also sold under different brand names so it pays to look around.

Power management issues, returning item.
Hardwired the unit to my bike’s battery. System had power issues from the beginning, randomly turning on and off. Parasitic drain on my battery caused by this unit. I plugged the gps in to a usb powerbank next, output to speaker was unstable, would reset volume options all the time. Not a high quality unit at all, would avoid if possible.

Love having CarPlay on my bike now!
I installed this on my 2023 BMW GS, and the included hardware was sufficient to do so- but I chose to remove the RAM ball and use an aftermarket mount to bolt this directly to a GPS mounting bar that I installed on my bike. This reduced the bulky mounting, made it difficult to steal, and aligned the display perfectly between my windshield and my original instrument panel. A quick trip to the hardware store for some stainless screws and an aftermarket AMPS style mount from Amazon are all it took. For electrical connection, I wired this to the accessory circuit on the bike and hid all the wires inside the fairing- it almost looks factory installed. Because it has no battery or 12V constant power, it can't retain the time setting- but as soon as it pairs with the phone, it updates itself. I think if they had added a 3V button cell battery internally to retain the clock settings, it would make a lot of sense and make a better product. If you use USB to power this device, it's no longer waterproof- so I have no plans to ever use the USB port.Pairing the phone worked flawlessly, and it always reconnects when I turn on the ignition without much delay. The down-side of this vs. a dedicated GPS is that the phone battery gets sucked down pretty quickly- so I sometimes run a USB charging cable from the USB charger on my bike to my phone which resides in the pocket of my jacket. If your phone doesn't have power- this device doesn't work and you have no NAV. Same for if you have no cellular service and use WAZE or other apps which don't support offline maps. I ride in rural areas and lose cell service at times- so I downloaded my whole area in Google Maps and switch to that if I have no cell signal.Suggested updates to make this perfect would be: Offer screen protectors! Add a button cell battery to retain clock settings and/or add a battery connection in addition to the ACC trigger wire to turn it on. Also, it would be nice to be able to buy a second cradle/wire set so this could be used on multiple bikes. All in all, I'm very happy with it! My GPS I used to run on my other bike was nice, but using CarPlay means having weather and real-time traffic data as well as being able to see if I have phone, text or other messages.

Weuaste Portable Apple Carplay Screen for Motorcycle, Super Recommend !
This Weuaste portable Apple carplay screen is my best motorcycle navigation. Compared to Garmin Zūmo XT, Tomtom, this Weuaste Portable Apple Carplay Screen is so cost -effective, the quality is very bright, the screen is bright, it is perfectly compatible with my Apple iPhone, which I can easily use it to call, listen to music and navigation.I like its navigation functions the most. With it, I no longer need a motorcycle mobile phone support, and I cannot use mobile phone navigation when it is raining. Because the mobile phone is not waterproof, this motorcycle navigation screen is very waterproof. I just tried to spray with high -pressure spray guns. it is still waterproof. Even if the screen has water droplets, I can touch it. I can touch the screen with my motorcycle gloves. This waterproof function is too powerful. This motorcycle navigation screen most amazing is its built -in Dual Bluetooth function, which is definitely the most innovative function. It paired the phone to the CarPlay touch screen through Bluetooth and paired the unit with the Bluetooth helmet/headset.My experience is: When connecting CarPlay, if your headset sounds are not good, it is not a problem with this Apple Carplay Screen. You need to disconnect the connection between the headset and the screen. Please use the headset to connect the Bluetooth of the phone. The sound quality will become very good. The sound is issued from the last device that is connected. This is very important. Try more, you will find the best effect.

Worked ok for a while then problems
Used this for a little over a year on my bike. The screen size is fine. The touch screen was decent, but wish it was a little more sensitive with moto gloves on.Quality is where I have an issue. After one year it frequently was losing communication with the phone or my helmet and I'd have to unplug from the USB port and plug it back in. Middle of my rides sometimes when I have GPS running and....ope....it loses the android auto connection and GPS is gone.Getting this set up initially was a bit of a pain. It needs to set up a local Wifi connection to your phone for the wireless AA/ACP.Recently replaced this with something else. I suppose I should have expected this performance as this appears to be a copy of a copy.
