In general it's a cool new toy that I like. The practice lock helps to understand the internals, but obviously things are not so easy on real locks. My only issue is with the quality of everything except of the cutaway lock. The cutaway lock is excellent and placed on it's own box, but for the rest... First of all the real lock looks painted with an airbrush, with very very bad finish. Inserting even the smallest of the tension wrench is difficult in the lock and small pieces of metal keep coming out of the lock when I try to insert the smallest of the picks in the lock, so I am not sure if it's the lock or the pick that falls apart. The picks look scratched, so I guess their quality is also pretty poor.

I needed to open windows that the keys had been lost. Arrived in less than 24 hours and I was amazed at the quality of the picks. Appeared to be tempered (hardened) and the shim handles were rock solid. Practice lock is superb and I got the windows unlocked in under 2 minutes. Really impressed with this fantastic piece of kit.

An interesting product the practice lock gives a very clear viable explanation as to how a paddock works, and is early mastered. Moving onto the "proper" lock provided is a very different kettle of fish. Opportunity this practice lock broke while I was using it not sure if the item was faulty or I was just being heavy handed. I will keep at it but it's is not as easy in real life as the practice lock seem to indicate.

I was always interested in having a go at lock picking so invested in this little set to see if I could do it.. the set has pretty much everything you need to get started and the see through lock makes things so much better to understand... I did find i needed to sand down the picks a little bit to smooth them off which improved things tenfold. all in all a good little set.

Good set of picks but the tension tools are not a great range of sizes tbh, had to adjust one for smaller locks/padlocks but it’s pretty normal. Pick material is good enough and they work well, but the normal practice padlock doesn’t even work with the keys it comes with because it’s that cheap and nasty but hey lol. Good product otherwise, good starting set for anyone picking basic locks.

Great starter kit - 'Professional' is probably an exaggeration. Sure, the clear lock is easy to pick but that's half the point of it. My kids love it, too. The picks themselves seem OK for the price, and benefit from a little edge smoothing. The set of tension wrenches would be better if there were 3 different thickness of wrench included, but again - what can one expect at this price? - in summary: you get a lot for your money, and it is a good starter kit.

The tools are ok but the practice locks could be better. ie the clear lock has 7 tumblers, but only the first two are holding back the barrel so the others may as well not be there. The brass lock has four tumblers and is much more difficult to open.

Good job all round; arrived promptly and the product looks good. One small negative is that the brass padlock in the set has two keys which looked distinctly like they had been hanging around for a long time (tarnished and such) and I feel the need to clean them, primarily because I am giving this to someone as a gift. Otherwise, a really great set that I like the look of and appears to be good value for money. Everything I expected and neatly boxed with a little instruction leaflet, so five stars from me.
