I've never bought a stand up wireless charger before because it was always a little out of my price-range for a charger, when you get one with your phone! But I felt this would be the best way to save damaging the usb port on my phone, so I went for it and I'm glad I did.One issue I unfortunately had was that it didn't like the leather case I had for my Note 5! It wouldn't charge my phone with it on, so I've had to go back to a less nice gel case, but it easily charges my phone now. I assume the leather case was just a tiny bit too thick :(This charger sits on my bedside table, so I drop my phone onto it when I go to bed at night - there is a light on it and it does slightly light up the room, especially when in a room of complete darkness, so I've had to cover that a little so it's less bright at night.I think it takes around 2 hours to fully charge my Note 5 (it'll depend on your phone's battery size) My samsung fast charger takes 1h 20 mins to fully charge my phone, but because I mostly use this at night, I'm not that bothered. It just makes it nice and easy to drop the phone onto it, without having to make sure the usb cable is the right way around or if your're scratching the bottom of your phone while trying to push the charger cable into your phone.Anyway, I would still recommend this wireless charger. I did have a cheap white flat wireless charger before which overheated quite a bit - this was when they 1st came out and was very slow to charge, which made it pointless using and also untrustworthy, but I've never noticed this one heat up, so I'm more than happy. No complaints here.

My husband recently purchased a wireless charge for his iPhone and since we break or lose charger cables in our home on a weekly basis, I decided to see if I could get something similar for my Samsung Edge. Upon looking and finding this product, I believe I have found an even better product than the one my husband has purchased. My initial reason for this purchase was the stylish design of the charger itself. I love its design and the fact that it is free standing, unlike my husbands, which has to be laid on top of the device. As I use my phone to stream movies whilst in bed, this design is perfect for me as I am able to charge my phone whilst continuing to use my device. The description also states that this product charges 1.4 times quicker than other wireless charging devices. Even whilst using my phone during the charging process I have found this to be true. Throughout the day I sometimes need to give my phone a boost of charge and this is now achieved more quickly with this charger, therefore time saving overall. This product also conserves energy as it automatically stops charging when the battery is fully charged. Due to the anti-slip rubber circle positioned on each side and at the bottom of the pad, my phone is also kept secure at all times, even when knocked. Whilst I have nothing but positive feedback for this item, I was encouraged to initially purchase it as it came with a long term warranty, so felt confident with the product I was purchasing. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone who is also tired of purchasing endless data cables and wants to have something that is not only stylish but meets the description issued by the seller.Fantastic product – a must have!

Love it, love it, love it!Seriously, you wouldn't imagine that a gadget so simple could give so much pleasure!I never really had that much of an issue plugging and unplugging a cable to charge my phones over the years but....I'd just upgraded to the S7 and thought that, as it had wireless charging built in, I may as well try one for the office. Well, it arrived (next day, from memory) , I took it out of the box and plugged it in and dropped the phone into the cradle - still wrapped in a Spigen hard case and *bing*, charging commenced.I don't know why using this is so satisfying - it just is. It works no matter the position of the phone, portrait or landscape, every time. Also, rather than the disc or mat types where you lay your phone down, this is angled perfectly and my S7 is now the 4th screen on my desk!Finally, I bought another for my colleague and will be buying another one or two for home.Oh, one last 'final' thing (!), I use it with the fast charge plug that came with my phone and I'm convinced that the phone charges faster on this charger than it does when using a cable - but I'm not saying this is actually the case, it may well be in my head and I really have more important things to do than test this, like placing another order for more :-)

It's cute, and since it charges upright it helps if you need to interact with the phone. unlike my previous Samsung wireless charger, it has multiple coils therefore it does not require the same pinpoint-precise alignment: you simply put the phone up there and leave it. The only thing preventing a perfect score is that the manual states that it has a blue led that lights up when the charger is connected to the mains, but i've never so far witnessed this happening. When you connect it to the mains the *green* led flashes once for a fraction of a second then goes off, and stays off until you're actively charging the phone; there's no led to signal the presence of power; this minor nitpit aside it works perfectly-even better than Samsung's.

I've been using this for almost a year now with my S7 edge and it's been great, nice fast charge and a good angle for still using on the desk.Unfortunately, I've just received a company S8 and this is faring less well.When on charge, the phone gets to about 80% and then fails to charge any further, I think that this may be due to the phone overheating, but the charger never turns off to allow it to cool down.Also, when it is on charge, the responsiveness of the screen is not very good. Tapping in my PIN, for example, does not register all of my presses or registers random presses.Never had any of these issues with the S7 edge (and still don't)
