Pretty good. Especially for the price. The Nespresso Ristretto capsules are still a notch above in strength, but if you pull mostly Expresso shots you'll barely notice a difference. I mostly pull doubles and the Nespresso capsules are a bit stronger. But for the price, I could double up on the single shots and still be way ahead.Update 10/2018 - so I've been using these for about a year now and am still pleased. I gave this product the fifth star because I think I figured out what Nestle is doing to up the strength on their pods. For a couple of reasons, I think Nestle is adding in some freeze-dried instant coffee into their capsules. "Flavor crystals" if you will. I usually pull double shots and for a while I was using two capsules to get the flavor I wanted. Now I've started using one capsule and little freeze dried added to the cup and am getting a cup equal to the Nespresso pods. (Trader Joe's has the best freeze-dried coffee if available to you.) This is why no one can come up with pods equal to Nespresso strength — Nestle cheats!I have a CitiZ machine and it has no problem with the plastic capsules. But if your machine struggles, you can pre-pierce the capsule with a knife which will work much better.So this capsule with a measuring teaspoon of instant and I have a perfect double for .30¢ a cup.

I didn't even know there were alternatives to Nespresso capsules until I ran into this product and others on Amazon. After reading mixed reviews I had a reservation and almost didn't buy this. At the end I thought the worst thing that could happen was wasting $25 max, so I purchased it.To my pleasant surprise, the coffee tastes good, really good. Someone suggested that the capsule be shaken and the plastic part be punctured before it goes into the machine and I did shake the capsule and punctured the backside with a fork before putting it in the machine.I have Nespresso Citiz and so far I don't have any problem with these capsules breaking or messing with the machine as in the reviews. Unless you have highly sophisticated taste buds (which I don't) this coffee will be good, actually very good. The aroma is as good as any other Nespresso capsules and I can drink three cups for the price of one. If there is a way to upload the smell and the taste of coffee, I would. Ha ha.One caveat is you probably will have to use these capsules within certain time, since the packaging may not preserve the aroma too long. I have stopped drinking Nespresso for 2-3 years after switching to Keurig machine before coming back to it and used Nesspresso capsules left from the previous purchase. They still had the aroma intact which was a surprise. But this coffee doesn't seem to have that kind of solid packaging.

Not sure what all the under 5 stars is for. I ordered the box of (Ristretto) it was 1/3rd the price of Nespresso Original Line Pods. I received my Pods in 2 days using my Amazon Prime they came in the new packaging where there was a box with 10 boxes of 10 pods. The box was super thick so the pods wont crush. The pods worked fine in my Nespresso Lattissima Pro Espresso Machine by De'Longhi. Like stated the pull on these make a super thick Crema and strong tasting Espresso. So if your looking for a more mild brew they have other styles to choose from.Super Great Deal.I'll be sure to order more.~SWC~

Once I lost my job mid-March, right when the virus hit, I started making my own lattes at home---- and I picked up a Nespresso (Innizio model, maybe $47 lightly used in perfect condition on Ebay) and these pods...I'm purchasing them today for the 9th time---- always buying the 100 pack for $25. One pack of 100 lasts me almost a month (I drink a LOT of these-- prob avg of 3-4 per day). I use TerraSoul Coconut Milk Powder and a hand held milk frothing tool to make the most delicious espresso drinks I've ever had... In my life. And I live in Portland, OR where we take our coffee very seriously.THE PRICE CANNOT BE BEAT---- I'VE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH A SINGLE POD--- AND I WILL KEEP COMING BACK! Negative reviews on this product confuse me greatly, perhaps they're from COMPETITORS or people who don't own actual "NESPRESSO" machines. My machine has NEVER had a single problem puncturing literally 800 of these pods.BUY them--- if you don't like I'm fairly certain you won't have a problem returning them, as I've not had a single problem returning anything with Prime and have been an Amazon customer since 2001.I think these BAD REVIEWS are from competitors, I swear--- they don't make any sense-- these are the JAM!!! :)

Not all Nespresso compatible pods are the same, whether it be taste, or the pods workings seamlessly. These pods are amazing. Excellent crema, excellent taste, and not one failure. I have found other replacement pods that taste as good, or very close, to the real Nespresso pods, but if you have any failures, besides the pain in the neck of the water flooding your machine, you have also lost any savings over the real ones. I keep Nespresso brand pods in my home, because they really are great, but these are equally great, and I haven’t had a single pod fail, as of yet, and I burn through as much as ten a day! Not every single day, but close. These are the fantastic!

After trying several other brands over several months, I'm delighted that the one for the lowest price per capsule is also the best for our taste preferences. It was obvious from the aroma & dark color of the first cup that this was going to be a strong brew. The icing on the cake: it's robust without being bitter. Simple packaging (loose unwrapped capsules in the box) obviously help to keep the price down.

I was hesistant to order 100 pods of a coffee I hadn’t tried but happily surprised that I like it. At the cost offered it was worth the risk. I like my coffee medium to light strength. The lungo hits it closer to medium for me. I also use the stainless steel refillable cups, and at this price point it is worth it to not having to individually pack and seal pods. The shape and size are compatible with my machine (Innisia). The volume of water through the pod is ample. The flavor is full, not watery. There is a word that describes finding a product that is as good as an expensive brand name but much cheaper - that’s value.

I was nervous at first when ordering compatible pods as there were mixed reviews. I bought the lungo pods because I like to sip on a drink for a while, and these were great! Just a TAD less strong then theNespresso pods (obviously those are going to taste best, they're crazy expensive) but these still taste really good and if you never tasted the Nespresso pods you would think they're perfect. Definitely try this brand, I'm ordering the Ristretto pods next and will update this review after I try them :)Sometimes they don't fit as perfectly into the machine and it makes a weird noise when closing the pod tray, but it seems to be still working perfectly. Highly recommend!Update:Been using these still for over a year, machine works fine, and I now use the ristretto pods.. I think they’re a bit stronger than the lungo, so I’ll often make a double. These are super awesome, especially if you make a lot of lattes or cappuccinos because you don’t need the highest quality espresso if you’re mixing it with tons of milk.. give these a try :)

Awesome value. Have gone through 100s of these pods now without issue. About 1/3 the cost of Nespresso.I've tried several of their flavours and they are all pretty great. The only reason to consider Nespresso would be their pod recycling program but I didn't use that (it's hard for me to fathom it being green when I'm mailing bags of pods around the world).Info was a bit hard to find about these but the seller sent me this:Ristretto - Made of Robusta beans, dark roast, strong and dark blend, might taste a lili bitter to some. On our intensity scale 10/10- Passione - A mix of Robusta and Arabica beans, espresso roast, so still a good strength but not as dark as Ristretto. 9/10- Crema - A mix of Arabica and Robusta beans, espresso roast, classic medium Italian espresso. This is our best selling blend in Italy. 8/10- Magia - 100% Arabica from South America, espresso roast. Mellow and smooth taste. 8/10- Lungo - 100% mix of Arabica beans. Medium blend designed for drinks up to 110ml. 7/10- Sinfonia - 100% mix of Arabica beans and a blonde roast. On the light side and very pleasant taste. 7/10

I've tried other Nespresso compatible capsules. This one fits my two Nespresso machines perfectly (another brand didn't).The flavour is good, decent crema, and strong enough for an espresso. I would rate Nespresso higher in both flavour and creama but remember these are almost a third of the price.These capsules can't be easily recycled like Nespresso capsules if you care for the planet. You could try to pry each capsule apart, compost the grinds and recycle the plastic parts but that's a lot of work. This is the only major knock against these capsules.

I picked up the passione flavoured cups and I am quite impressed! Comes in a sealed box, which then has ten sealed boxes (with 10 pods in each). Pods are strong like an espresso, they are a 7/10 creamy (these will perk you up for sure). I can’t tell a difference between these and the nespresso pods (even my coffee connoisseur boyfriend confirms!). For the price point and the flavour of the pods, I’d recommend these. I also read comments on the pods not being pierced properly or draining, the pods I received had no troubles running them through though my innisia.
