Years ago I purchased a very expensive light at an educational store that basically did what this light does...only this light is so much better! First it's lightweight, compact and convenient so I can take it anywhere I want to add some fun mood lighting. I love the ability to change to different settings and colors with a convenient remote and that the light show packs a punch that belies it diminutive size and affordable price. I have a weakness for disco balls, party lights, and projected image products which my hubby tolerates- but he is definately enjoying the light show this product puts out. The lighting does go with the beat of the music but it's a subtle thing. After a stressful day of work we like to turn the Disco Ball Party Strobe light on with some music -I cook dinner & the hubby relaxes with a microbrew somehow it just seems like a celebration with the dancing disco lights. It might just be the perfect item for your mancave (or lady cave). Update: took this to my sisters house for our Mother's Day celebration and it was a huge hit! Sister couldn't believe the the wow factor and the low price. She loves to host parties will be ordering a disco light for her house too.

The media could not be loaded.  I was impressed with this disco ball! For very little money, you can bring any party or dance-off to life! First of all, because of the size, it can fit into a lot of different spaces. It has a place where it can mount onto the wall, and adjust to be at the angle you need it to be. Or like me, you can just pull it out and set it on the counter when you want to have some fun! The remote that comes with it, makes it easy to start up right away. The little machine makes a quiet humming sound, but with music playing there is no problem with it at all. My favorite feature of this ball is that it reacts to sound, and moves to the beat. I posted a video that shows this feature. I felt that this little gadget was a really fun thrill for how inexpensive it is. My kitchen will be seeing way more dance parties from now on!

Don't be fooled by the price of this light as it is suffice enough for even the wildest party goers. I would recommend this over the standard "disco ball." I really enjoy the music pulse function. I have a sound system w/ subwoofer and the light responds to the beat of the music. The one qualm I have with this is that the plastic dome piece can fall of from time to time. I plan on super gluing it before mounting it to the wall.

This did not come with clear instructions on how to connect to the music. So i decided to just play music without trying to connect it. I was surprised when it just started going to the beat. Very impressed. Only bummer is that it only has three colors Red, green and blue.

Love this light! It is really super cool and really easy to set up! I love the feature that plays the lights with the music! It flashes on the beats and that makes a really cool light show at your parties! Bought this with a blue tooth karaoke machine for my daughters birthday (and a disco ball) and we had a blast! We now just turn it on whenver we feel like dancing in the living room!Would definitely buy again!

I didn't read the description very well and didn't realize how tiny it is. I didn't think it would work well and thought about returning it but decided to try it. It works AWESOME! The remote is cool too. We had a larger one that you clicked a button on the unit itself so having the remote feels like a luxury with this one haha. I'm thinking of buying another one for parties because this one will be screwed into the wall of the room it was bought for.

I'm having a party in two weeks, so I purchased this on July 1st. It worked great and was exactly what I wanted - rotating lights with color options. I decided to mount it to the ceiling using command hanging strips, and once positioned, I did not touch it. It stayed where I put it, and all was well. We turned it on at night while doing things around the house, and it was working well these few days we've had it... until last night. In the middle of it being on, it suddenly stopped rotating.Stagnant lights. Ruined party aspirations.I tried pushing all the buttons on the remote, but that doesn't help. I've moved it around a bit, seeing if I could jolt something inside of it to make it rotate again. Nope. Thankfully I have some time before my party to purchase something else.I would return this if it weren't a hassle and if I still had the box, but at this point, I just need to find something else. The cheap $5 battery powered one I got from Five Below last year was more reliable than this, and that took about 10 months to break.

What is a great party light with 7 different colors and different flashing models. It is just that we have been looking for. With a remote controller making it even better! Be honest, it is cheaper than I thought comparing with the one we saw on the last year Christmas party. My son can't wait for his party to play this light. You won't get regret to buy this one!
