Took all summer to decide on a replacement tower fan since my old one is worn out. When it comes to household electronics I alway choose “New” over refurbished just because they usuall don’t come with a very long shelf life. I was a bit skeptical when I opened it because it was octopus it had been opened and regaled. So ready to set it up since it’s 85 degrees here in Northern Cali which is a scorching heat wave for us, and…No instructions, no remote , but the worse thing is the base is thin, cheap plastic and will not stay on the fam if you give it even the slightest nudge. Sorry Amazon, it’s coming back to you today. Maybe if it’s missing some piece that does keep the base on the fan, I will get a replacement. I will chat with the lovely Amazon operator about that. It is a good looker, I will admit. Snazzy enough for my living room area.Hello—I want to update you since Amazon allowed me to return my original fan. I actually got the brand new replacement within days of that review before I even had a chance to take the old one diwn to the UPS Store. The first one I received had indeed been missing a few things and I am so glad I gave them a second chance. I LOVE this fan. It is so shiny white, ultra sleek, modern and sexy. Big lit LED display you can see from across the room and massive wide air flow. When I put it on level floor I actually have to crawl under a blanket which I love. I have not had a chance to do the Alexa connect, I will definately get that done this weekend. I just am so enjoying the aesthetics and power of this fan. The way that it’s shape and how the base snaps in just seems so sturdy. I don’t think it will have the same wobble effect as it ages that my other fans get. So thumbs up on my newest cooling gadget! In fact I will be purchasing another matching one now so that next summer I can really chill with some cross flow action.PART THREE::STILL LOVING MY FAN AND READY TO BUY ANOTHER!I tecently had a pioe burst and flood my place and while most of my floor level items were tuimef, manhandled by thoughtless workers smd damaged, my tower fan is still level, steady and operational!I did get it synchrd to work with Alexa on my Evho show—Yes!

This fan has 4 speeds, is fairly quiet, and with the Alexa connection, I can control it with voice commands. Very convenient, and a very nice, high quality fan! Highly recommended!

After using this now for about a month, I still like it but, seems to have a noise issue. On speeds 1 and 2 it has this annoying hum but tolerable. On speeds 3 and 4 it becomes worse. The pushbutton settings on the front are hard to see to set it manually. You need to get your face up close to even see it because it blends in with the black background. Would be nice to have a remote option as sometimes you just don't want to be shouting at Alexa to make a change. It has some nice functions on it. The build quality seems lighter and mostly plastic compared to my old 48" Lasko that lasted for 10 years. Overall I'm enjoying it and getting used to the noise.

I have this in a bedroom and it is on nightly- it is quiet, looks great, works wonderfully and has lasted running nightly for about a year with no problems. It is tall but it is slimmer then I expected and for its size it puts out more air then you’d imagine. The best fan!

This does not work with the latest version of Alexa. I tried programming every way the manual said to do. The only reason I'm keeping it is because it's 48"inches tall and the breeze from it feels great. But,it does not come with a remote control so you have to manually turn it to the setting you want.. I was very disappointed when it did not work with my version of Alexa. So,be cautious and make sure this is the fan you want. And,if it is by all means buy it. But,if you want to control it with Alexa you are going to be very disappointed and upset.Stephen Williams,Wilmington, North Carolina

Fan was as described and can be controlled by Alexa but it did not come with a remote which is a big miss. It is quiet but not very powerful

I need air quick and the checking out the portable air conditioner, I went a got a tower fan. It's better than the box fan because the air is not hot and quieter than a steel fan. Just get two, one for the bedroom and another for the front remove.

This fan is a great purchase.
