Worked only 1 time.
The part looked exactly the same as the original and was very easy to install. We cooked one meal without any issue and the next day it wouldn't work at all.

Did not last. (But the company made good)
Installed this component on my GE oven last April, initially repaired the lack of ignition. But now in September it has begun to fail. Bringing out the Amp meter showed the component topping off at 2.4A which is not enough to open the safety valve. I have noted reviews like my own and can say this problem is not exclusive to me.*** Edit ****Customer service saw my review, reached out, and replaced the unit at no charge. Communicating every step of the way, even when I failed. It is hard to find a company online that backs their product, but this one most definitely does.. Would buy from them again.

Exactly what I needed to fix my GE XL44 oven!
I had scheduled a repair guy to come and fix my oven. The igniter (which has been replaced years before) lit up so I figured that wasn't the problem. Well, after YouTubing the issue, it turns out that it could still be the problem because it doesn't get hot enough any more. Instead of spending a couple hundred dollars for a repair guy, this EASY replacement fixed my problem! I'm buying another one so that when it goes in 5 or 6 years I'll have one on hand instead of waiting for a new one. Even if it was next day delivery! This repaired my GE XL44 oven.

Worked for 9 months….
Bought this back in January and here I am needing yet another one because this one failed…can’t say I’m thrilled to not be able to use my oven for the second time in less than a year.

Update - I submitted the review below and received a reply from the seller who offered a full refund for the defective igniter. That's top-notch customer service. Adjusted the overall rating because of that. I would buy from this customer again because of that. Well done...Original Review - The installation of this igniter was easy and initially solved the problem with my oven not lighting. After about 4 months there were times when the oven would not light. The igniter was glowing but the gas safety would not activate the gas, so no flame. Seemed to be a random issue. Initially thought it was the safety mechanism or the gas valve failing. Then the oven stopped working. Igniter was glowing but not as bright. The top burners and broiler were working fine so that ruled out the main gas valve. Tested the safety and it was working correctly. Turned out the igniter stopped providing the correct current to trip the gas safety switch. It basically got too "weak" to trip the safety. Purchased a different igniter since this one was not available and everything worked right away. So this one lasted 5 months. Not great, especially since we don't use the oven that much.
