Hawaiian TropicGradual Tan Self Tanning Lotion, 12.6oz | Sunless Tanner

First time I ever did a sunless tan and this came out perfect. No streaks no smudges and it has a glow that even JLo couldn’t bottle up.

Love this product, it does not streak and adds a very natural looking color. It smells good too.

I used the Hawaiian Tropic self-tanner for an entire season. I was pleased with the overall color I got, although it's subtle. That's generally my preference, though, as I don't want a deep tan, just a little color. This is a thicker and richer formula that goes on smoothly. As long as you exfoliate occasionally and work it in well, you shouldn't get streaks.The initial scent was a kind of pineapple/coconut scent, but it fades really quickly to the scent of what I assume is the DHA. That scent is the one that lingers, and I don't love it. I don't think anyone you're talking to will smell it, but I definitely did.I would repurchase this again if I saw it for a good price, but it wasn't my absolute favorite.

The media could not be loaded. I'm giving 3 stars because I'm not sure if I got a bad batch this purchase based on my previous bottle. See the video for the differences in my older Hawaiian Tropic and my new one. I'm so disappointed because I'm out of my original and I loved it, but this new one is coming out greenish and even leaves a greenish tone on my legs. I wanted to give it a chance to develop but it hasn't changed. I'm not sure if I should order it again. I've tried other brands but I couldn't stand their strong, perfume scents. Hawaiian Tropic has a subtle pleasant scent which I also like.

I enjoyed using this lotion this summer to give me a tiny bit of extra glow. I'm not sure why, but my legs tan at a completely different rate than my upper body, making them look like they belong to someone else or I wear long pants all the time! This lotion solved the problem. It was easy to use, not blotchy, and didn't make me glow orange. After repeated use (several days in a row), I would start to get a slightly orange tint to my skin, so I would take a break every few days. However, keeping up on this lotion eventually brought my leg tan up to par with my upper body. I can't say enough good things about this stuff! No splotches, you don't have to be careful around knees and ankles. It's gradual, but it really works!

Doesn't work. Makes you look a little tanner when the foam is applied, but when you rinse it off, there's no difference. I'm pale skinned and left it on for about 8 hours, so there should have been SOME difference. There wasn't. Very disappointed, I generally love Hawaiian Tropic products

Love this stuff! It is a perfect gradual tanner. It is not going to get you a deep tan overnight like other products, it is designed to be buildable. I am fair and it took a few applications before it started to make me look tan. It never looked orange or streaky or unnatural. I think you would have to use way too much or do a bad job applying it to make that happen. The best part is that it is the least smelly tanning lotion I have ever used. Yes it smells very slightly like fake tanner, but only mildly and has a nice tropical scent. Every other tanning product I have used I feel like I have to shower off the smell before I go out into the world. With this stuff the smell is so minor you don't have to worry. It might be a little stronger if you do your entire body (I mainly just use it on my legs) but still not bad at all compared to other products.
