I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking for the most affordable real silk pillowcases on Amazon. I had previously ordered a two pack from another vendor claiming to be 19 momme silk but they failed the burn test. Realizing you get what you pay for I upped my budget. I ordered both these and the 19 momme cases from Alaska Bear. The Alaska Bear ones were nice, but very thin. You can feel the difference with these. They have more weight to them. Reminded me of what an evening dress would be made out of. But what really sold me was the burn test. I pulled some loose silk strands from the seam. You can see the strands are hairlike. Burning the strands gave the faint smell of burnt hair. Furthermore the ash fully disintegrated. The two pack I had initially purchased from the other vendor burned to a plastic thing. I never tested the Alaska Bear ones as I preferred the feel of these. So I’m fully confident in the quality of these pillowcases. My hair has almost zero frizz when I get up in the morning. They stay cool to the touch and just feel luxurious. I went all out and opted for the queen size. My pillows are only standard size. But I’d prefer there be a bit of slack to the case to prevent any stress in the zipper, seams when you’re tossing in your sleep. A bit of a hit to the wallet, yes. But if you can afford it, go for it. Life’s short. Treat yourself!

I was looking for real silk pillow cases to help my hair, skin, and especially my eyelash extensions. I sleep on my side and with cotton pillowcases I noticed the outer corners of my lashes were shedding faster on the side I favored. Since buying these pillowcases I've had less lashes shed on the outer corners, no breakouts or super oily skin in the mornings, and zero frizz to my curls. Highly recommend!I wash it every other day while I'm in the shower just before I get out with tepid water, hang them to dry on my shower rack and when I get home from work they're dry and ready to go back on my pillowcase. DO NOT USE REGULAR DETERGENT. I found that if I use my rose Love Beauty & Planet body wash it's gentle enough to get the job done and smells amazingggg. Also, don't wring it out, do your best to be gentle as possible when distributing the cleanser, and rinse really well. To add more softness just put a little bit of conditioner (again, I use Love Beauty & Planet) on it then rinse it out good again. Roll it loosley on a towel to excrete some moisture before hang drying is helpful too. None of my pillowcases have any rips or tears after numerous washes so I know I'm doing something right.

Oh yeah, these are the ones. I have never tried silk, but after reading about the health benefits and quality (I have very sensitive skin) I was convinced. I ordered 3 (2 pink and one silver, or "light grey" as its called) and decided to try one out and return the other two if I did not like the feel. I spent one night on these and absolutely loved them. They look incredibly elegant, are very cool to the touch and as soft as you would imagine silk to be. They did not come with any kind of smell and arrived in all of two days. I would absolutely buy from this company again and will be checking to see if they have silk sheets to sell as well!

I do believe this is real silk, however I suspect it is low quality. Compared to my mulberry silk scarf, it is really not soft. Running my hand over it feels a bit rough, and not very "silky." I'm a little suspicious as well since the inside of the pillowcase is not shiny like the outside. It's definitely not a satin weave, so I believe it was treated with something to make the outside seem smoother and shinier than it really is.I have curly hair that is prone to frizz. I slept on this last night and upon feeling the friction against my skin, immediately knew it wasn't going to work out well. First thing in the morning, I looked in the mirror and the frizz was more comparable to a normal cotton pillowcase. So I put my satin pillowcase back on, which I prefer due to its shine and slip - something us curlies are really looking for in a fabric.Unfortunately if this was as high quality silk as the seller leads on, it would cost 2-3 times as much as it does. It's one of those things you can't work around when it comes to quality. I would call this more of an "off brand" version of good silk. And since my satin pillowcase works like a charm, I'll just stick with that.

Ordered twice. First pillow case was exactly as described. Great quality and still loving it. Used the reorder button to get one for a friend. Second one was terrible quality and definitely not the same material. Returned it

This pillow case feels so nice and soft. This is really easy to clean and it did come with washing instructions. I chose to hand wash this pillow case and when it comes to drying, I follow the instructions which states to wrap in a towel. I have thrown this in the dryer but I put it on either low or air dry. This does help get the wrinkles out but once you fold it, the wrinkles do come back. Was afraid that my oily skin would stain this but it doesn't and still hasn't. What I thought was really cool about this pillowcase was that it has a zipper. Was afraid this would get caught up in either the pillow or the pillowcase itself but it really doesn't. Fits my memory foam pillow and not matter how much I toss and turn, the pillowcase stays which is why I love the zipper feature on this.

Be aware that if you decide on this pillow case you will need to chase it around the bed the first night. It’s that slick and silky. I loved the color and the hidden zipper means your hair won’t get caught in it. I ordered 2 and hand washed the 1 that I wasn’t using. It made a difference, not in the silky feel but in not having to “chase” it. Yes, I’d buy from this seller again.

It was honestly way better than expected. Some of the reviews had me scared that it wouldn't be good quality but I figured I could always return it if that was the case. Ii have been using it for a few weeks now and it definitely serves its purpose. I'm following the curly girl method for my hair and it definitely helps to decrease frizz and I find my curls are not crushed in the morning. Also love the soft feel and that it feels cooler than a standard pillowcase. I would definitely purchase again.

I bought a 25momme from another brand and this 23momme one. Well this one is definitely thicker and shinier. I love the quality.

Feels really nice. My hair is smoother in the morning and I don't have the dreaded face creases when I wake up that you can get from sleeping on your side. I am really happy with it, and it comes in a wide variety of colors which is great!

FYI - I totally thought it was a pair of pillow cases. Thought i would include for others who thought the same

C'est cher, mais excessivement doux et d'excellente qualité. J'ai été capable de nettoyer facilement à la main des taches de saignement. La soie est demeuré lustrée. Je vais en acheter un autre c'est certain.
