Every year, I buy several school items for my sister for her class for the school year. She teaches middle school. It is my donation for the year.

I bought a pack to see if they would be good to give to my students. The flip top is a little flimsy and I’m sure several students will tear it up in no time. However, the sharpener piece fits nicely into the bottom and should be sufficient for holding in shavings. IT SHARPENS REALLY WELL! I tried it on a black Ticonderoga pencil (my fave) and it was almost dangerously sharp. I also tried it on a cheap pencil and a cheaper colored pencil; all great results. I have about 10 sharpeners that were $3-5 each that are horrible so I was very pleased with these! They will not hold a lot of shavings, but they will be great for students to sharpen a broken pencil in class. For my purposes and the price, these are top notch!

Perfectly good sharpeners for quite cheap. Bought them for AP goodie bags for my students, and I'll buy them again this coming year.

These sharpeners are great for the price! They sharpen easily and it’s easy to get into for when you’re wanting to clean it out. The one down side is that, at least for me, the residual material seems to stick from static or something and it’s not too easy to clean where you actually put the pencils. But it’s light, portable, and easy to use! Using a Kleenex or something to wipe it out is good enough for me.

I bought these for my colored pencils that I used for my adult coloring books. They're okay.

I bought these sharpeners to mail to my students along with other items for distance learning during COVID 19. I had a few left over which came to good use at my own home. As you know, hand sharpeners can be quite hit or miss. I found these sharpeners to do a great job. I like the area which catches the sharpenings. Having a lid was a plus. This would work great in a classroom because students wouldn’t have to stand over the garbage can to sharpen and the lid would contain the mess instead of dirtying the students’ backpack or cubby.

My child gave these out as part of a Valentine's Gift bag. I tried sharpening the pencils and my color pencils in both sharpeners. The plastic is fairly sturdy and it sharpens without an issue. I've paid more one sharpener at a brick and mortar store and it didn't work as well.

I'm a teacher and bought these as a class set for my students. A month and a half later, they already started breaking. I thought these would last my students until June but I'm disappointed that I have to shell out more money to replace these.

Disappointing. These sharpners don't sharpen well and even crack the pencils.
