Clarks Men's Brixby Cove Fisherman Sandal, US

This pair of sandals was actually intended for my husband for his birthday last year and as he grew up wearing Clarks when he lived in the UK, I thought of buying him a good pair of leather sandals, as the pair of Joseph Seibel sandals I had bought him didn't last two summers--as my husband wears sandals with socks throughout the year. Although he appreciated my efforts, he didn't want to wear it, saying as he is getting older, his feet for some reason, becomes very hot and sweats too much, he was afraid this particular pair had narrow gaps and therefore did not have much ventilation. However, these pair of sandals did not go to waste. When my son visited us one morning, he was barefeet--as his flipflops had just broken while he was in a Mall, so we asked if he wanted to wear these sandals.Initially, he made fun of it, saying these sandals remind him of older European tourists, who hikes on Table Mountain, but the minute he put it on, he commented how comfortable these were. He actually wears a size larger than his Dad but has a narrower foot, so it just fits him. However, as these sandals are genuine leather, it would stretch further. He wears it often and say its suitable for all occasions. Thank you, Clarks for not disappointing

I must be a bit of a saddo I suppose, but I've searched for 6 months to find something like this.My requirement was for a robust, comfortable closed toe sandal that I could walk for miles in on holiday (or elsewhere of course).Beaches, hills, roads, rocky coves - they needed to take all these in their stride so to speak. I wasn't looking for something to tootle round the swimming pool in.Like a lot of guys who live 50 weeks of the year in socks and shoes, something that isn't comfortable would cause problems with blisters within a mile or 2. Nothing of the sort with these! Not one uncomfortable moment in them. The soles are robust and springy giving a nice "bounce" as you walk in them. And they look OK too!By no means cheap - but they are Clarks - which is always reassuring I suppose. My search is ended!

Good product. Nice shoes for walking. But the shoes are small than I expected and I have to unfast the ankle strap before wearing it.

I bought these in preparation for summer so I wore them all day and they're comfy, quality and good value for money 👍

I bought these as a present for my husband . He wanted leather sandals that protected his toes whist walking . These fir the bill exactly . He takes size 9 but sometimes they are a little narrow for him so i ordered the 9and a Half . They fit perfectly . The toe is not totally open but has a fabric layer which is great for preventing gravel penetrating the sandal .The heel srap is adjustale and there is a tightening lace on the front with toggle . He loves them .

Exactly what I expected from Clarks, superior build quality and oustanding comfort. I could literally walk for miles in these, if only I had the energy, and still feel comfortable. The closed toe front end inspires confidence, feeling safe and repelling grit and little stones, in so far as is to be expected with sandals and their fundamentally open air design.Mid weight rather than light weight. These are made to last, which I am certain they wil do. They look great too, i.m.o. , with their quality leather and locking draw string feature commonly seen on many modern high end trainers and hiking shoes. Clarks are the dogs! Nothing more to say. Recommended? Oh yeah!

These sandals are up to Clarks normal quality of manufacture 'though not made in the UK. The materials are also good quality. My gripe is with the fact that your foot rests on a rubber bed which does nothing for the breathing of your sole. I imagine it reduces production costs as the sole and bed for the foot are one single piece. However, there are certain 'corners which cannot be cut' in my reckoning and this is one. The sandals are rugged, well-fitting and appealing in design. The practicability of a foot on a rubber bed is questionable at least.

Well made, comfy & good price

They look good, are true to size and they’re really comfortable. Only worn them a handful of times but so far, I’m very happy with these sandals.

Sehr gute Sandale in Form, Gestaltung und Verarbeitung. Es war gut gleich eine Nummer größer zu bestellen, die Sandalen sitzen zu Beginn ihrer Nutzung sehr stramm am Fuß, dies hat sich aber nach kurzer Zeit gegeben. Die Sandalen sind auf alle Fälle ihren Preis wert.
