Excellent kit, 4 stars as the instructions weren’t specifically great but once you realise to push down as well as pump it really shrinks. Manages to store all my winter clothes away in less space than originally needed. Would recommend to all.

Good for storage/holidays

I admit....the reason for purchase was actually seeing a TV commercial by JML, which is a rival manufacturer. These vacuum packs have been around for years, but because you need a vacuum cleaner, they were mainly a storage solution, not for travelling. After all, there's no point in packing 4 times the clothes in your suitcase if on the way back you're having to beg the hotel maids to let them borrow their vacuum cleaner, and if they don't, having to buy a second suitcase and pay extra baggage fees. So when I saw a JML advert showing that the technology had moved on and you can vacuum pack using a small handheld usb device, I was excited, as well as a little cynical...would a tiny device really suck out the air as efficiently as a powerful vacuum cleaner? I came on to Amazon and found the JML product, but it seemed to have a lot of negative reviews amongst the positive. I then came across this item which was cheaper than JML and had more positive reviews. As it's on Prime, and Amazon are just stellar when dealing with returns, I figured, it won't hurt to try! I'm pleased to say it was a brilliant investment. The device is tiny, fits right into the palm of my small hands (I have very small hands by the way, so if you have normal size hands, this decide is even smaller for you). And yet, it sucks all the air out of the vacuum pack. It does take a little longer than a vacuum cleaner, which is to be expected, but the great thing is, the device has this rubber attachment which allows it to stick to the vacuum pack opening without you needing to hold on. In other words, throw clothes into pack, stick the device into the opening, switch on, and then wander off while it sucks out the air. LOVE this product, this is gonna revolutionise how many items of clothing I can take on holiday!

The vacuum machine itself was brilliant and saved me so much space however the bags were used up to 4 times then ripped easily after. Otherwise it was a great purchase and use on my 21 days holiday!!

I usually travelling a lot as a business trip and looking for vacuum storage bag which can be used with a USB electric pump. At last, I found the right product for myself.With this purchase, I received 4 storage bags. i.e. 2 small and 2 medium. We tried to use this bag and packed towels, blankets and pillows and the electric pump is giving impressive result. We already had few storage vacuum bags but they are all with the use of manual pump which is now giving tiring jobs. This electric pump is giving best job with removing almost all excess air and proving more storage.The material of this bag is of premium quality and looks durable. There are double zippers and sealing clips which provides secure sealing of the items inside bags.I am 100% satisfied with this product.

The USB pump coped ok but could have been a little more powerful so only four stars. But it did the job it was intended for.Amended my review as bags did not last they reinflated after only a few weeks, others I have had have remained sealed for much longer. Disappointed.

Very slow compared to electric pump but does the job fine for travel

Great sizes & storage. We used them for travelling across America. The air pump is great but quite slow, we found it easier to suck the air out. That said, if your lungs are not at their best the USB pump is perfect and quiet when in use. These bags are now storing my opposite seasons clothes in the loft and still look as good as new.
