If you have the previous version with the issues below and are having trouble downloading the updated version, you may need to contact Amazon customer support and ask them to update the copy in your library. My preferences are set to 'Automatic Book Updates' but I did not get the updated version. Amazon customer service pushed the new version to my library without any issues.Preliminaries: This review is for the Kindle edition of Llewellyn's Complete Book of Ceremonial Magick: A Comprehensive Guide to the Western Mystery Tradition. Read on Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle for PC app.Review: The Kindle Edition is full of formatting issues. Some of the tables are unreadable. The Hebrew characters are almost squashed flat in some tables as to be unreadable - examples the Athbash Cipher and Aiq Bekar tables.There are numerous instances of numbers and words that run together without spaces. The numbers seemingly have no meaning in the text - examples “39Sepher ha-Bahir”, “200Who Wrote the Book of Abramelin”, etc.There are words that run together without spaces - some examples in the Kindle table of contents include “Book2: Qabalahby Anita Kraft & Randall Bowyer”, “Book 4: Alchemyby Dennis William Hauck”, “Book1: Foundations of Western Magicby Sam Webster”There are also blocks of text that are strangely formatted throughout the book. The block it seems is formatted around the text instead of the text being formatted to fit the block - so the block either expands or contracts based on the font or length of the text - example the header in each block is of a larger font so this gives every text block in the book a “T” shape.There is a special character in the section on Demonology & Spirit Evocation that is not sized correctly and takes up the entire screen. This character was probably inserted as an image. This error is a showstopper.There are too many formatting issues to list them all and I am sure there are more that I missed. When I came to the character that took up the entire screen I pretty much gave up on a detailed reading as it was too frustrating, so I scanned the rest of the book. I believe this book has great potential. Book 1 Foundations of Western Magic by Sam Webster is almost worth the price of the book alone. I have other books by almost every author included in this book and for some of the authors I have several. They are all experts in the field, so this book has potential to be a fantastic resource. The only thing holding it back is it’s poor formatting. Again this review is only for the Kindle edition of this book. I have not seen the hardback - it may not have any of these issues - therefore I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars. I do not recommend buying the Kindle Edition because of all the formatting errors. When the digital version of this book is corrected and I receive the update on my Kindle. I will be more than happy to come back and update this review.

Super Comprehensive book. All encompassing. If one doesn’t have a decent set of Magicians Tables this book has a good set to work with. I do recommend the Skinner Magicians Tables for advanced work and understanding of correspondences, I digress.There is very much to be taken away from this tome. On the surface it seems very broad and basic, but in between the pages there are still hidden puzzles for the Occultist/Wizard/Witch to process and discover.

What a bible for the Quantum age that we are on the verge of entering.The place where magic merges with the mental intellectual plane can only happen in today's Information age ~~ full of occult disclosure as a book of this caliber was unthinkable before the Internet, Amazon or You-Tube. I'm already blown away by the history the authors have assembled. What surer footing for The West or The Mediterranean or Europe. If Christianity is fading from relevance, a much deeper understanding of who we are and our place in the cosmos seems to be underway. Certainly a re-evaluation of reality without censorship after 1,500 years of religious censorship. The clarity and erudition of the writing make it an historic work in my humble opinion

Wow, from Atheist to Ceremonial Magick... Amazing how Magick is inspiring so many... I’ve heard the term “you’re not born a Priest” but I believed are all born into Magick of Birth & Rebirth... and Finding a Magickal Path can be inherited... I knew I was different, from childhood to now... Found so much in this book... I have read so much after finding my passion... Someone got distract while studying psychology n said “believes they have magical powers” she stopped reading... There are many with Psychological Challenges... like myself... I was looking for healing myself... oh boy I found it, so many sources like this book... it’s easing & I feel more control over my life... Magick is Healing me... with no resistance by thy self... no doubts... no negativity... many more days than before, being happy & content versus, hate, anger, well any negative emotion...Aloha & Blessed Be... Wenz Matta

This book is so detailed, so in depth. Another reviewer said they felt like it should have been taught as a master class- this book IS the masterclass. It is something that I will come back to study again and again and was worth every penny. The authors are each knowledgeable and clear. The depth of lessons is astounding. I am only part of the way through but felt I should just make a review for anyone that might be on the fence - you wont regret this book.

If Dr. Stephen Skinner is included in any Occult literature, then you know its going to be awesome. I just received my copy and Wow it has a endless plethora of history and explores all facets of Occult Magick. Whether your a book harvester or a practicing magician, this is a must have book in your arsenal.

When I saw it I knew I had to have it. Not even released yet, I order the hard cover. I then started stalking David and Lon facebook trying to coordinate events to get it signed but when i got the book they had already signed it. AWESOME!! Also has a ribbon book mark attached. Still have to get a kindle copy so I don't mess up my book reading it
