This Ropoda 6 person croquet set is a lightweight set. It looks pretty good for an inexpensive set. My only complaint is that the mallets won't fit back in th_e bag assembled. You'd have to break them down each time in order to fit. I think it would be much better if they did fit back in without being disassembled. But overall the set has everything you need to play (including instructions), is functional, and pretty nice looking. Be careful not to over-tighten the mallet heads because the wood will split. I just stored it with the mallets assembled and sticking out of the bag a little. The balls are slightly lighter than standard regulation balls. You get 6 colors for the 6 players. I haven't had an issues and overall think it's a good cheaper set.I hope my review and photos have been helpful to you. Thanks for reading.

Well made nice looking set

Understand this is not a high priced, high quality set. It's finish is ok. I wanted to play croquet with the kids and grandkids. Could not justify spending a lot of money until we played for a while. We have played with this set one time so far. I asked the kids not to be rough with the set. We had fun and had no problems.

Biggest complaint is they could have made the bag just a bit bigger and the mallots would fit without having to break them down every time which will wear out the wooden threads even faster.

I ordered this croquet set for an antiquated, costumed, tea party I was hosting. This set made the cut over others simply because shipping was going to be so fast. However, immediately upon arrival, I was very thankful for my choice. I love the look of this set, I think it's much more sleek and interesting looking in person. They are taller, sturdier, a little heavier, and thicker than the croquet set that I had previous played with (a friend's set, which I also liked.) That being said, when everything is in the carrying bag, it is not overwhelming to carry around. I was impressed by how easy it was to assemble and dissemble! If I were to be very nitpicky and find something to complain about (which I always will ;P), it would be that the bag itself is kind of flimsy (but has not broken or anything! It is absolutely fine.), and that I wish the balls were darker in color. (the balls seem to not super match the beautiful darkwood pieces) But honestly, I never leave reviews and I was SUPER impressed by this set. If anything changes, I'll update this review!

Lots of fun

My first impression is it is good quality itemBut if you put the mallets together they can't fit in the bag. This oversight is disappointing. But for the price I would buy it again.

Easy to assemble. Like the storage bag.

I couldn't believe how light the box was when it arrived! Mallets chipped. Painted wood. Very short mallets too! Balls are the best thing. I wouldnt waste your money. My mum has a set from lidl and paid less than 20 euro....its the same thing, if not better. I would have sent this back but it was a gift. A disappointing one!

Ordered as a present. Delivery date later than advertised and only just in time. Not the best quality product or delivery.

Terrible workmanship - rough wood - gave me 2 splinters. One mallet head wouldn't screw into handle - again shoddy workmanship. Only positive was a quick refund.

This set is a huge disappointment! There are so many reasons why I would not recommend it.First, the ends of the sticks are all chewed up straight out of the plastic. This made it nearly impossible to connect a mallet to each stick. I had to try a bunch of combinations to be able to fit them, it was a time consuming puzzle.Next, the finish on the wood is terribly inconsistent, as shown on the mallet head photo. Some areas on the set are extremely rough and hardly have finish sprayed on, while other areas the finish is too thick and globed on.Then there are areas that are splintered and cracked. One handle had some barbed wood in the grooves.Finally, I wouldn’t have ordered this set at all if I knew that the carrying case is completely unusable once the mallets are constructed. It won’t even close to fit, and the mallets were so challenging to screw together I can’t get them apart again. It would be impossible to take the set apart and together each time you wanted to play then store it in the case.This set is no where close at being a good item for the price I payed. A huge disappointment.
