Worked for 6 months,
It worked well for about 6 months, put on charger overnight, said it was charged. Would only light up light on drill.

Bought this and it works perfectly
Bought for an 18v nicad (had to buy an adapter) and it works perfectly. much longer life than the old nicads. I even had upgraded to larger capacity nicads

Battery error when connected to charger.
This battery fit my Porter Cable drill but did not work with the Porter Cable charger that came with my drill. The charger flashes red indicating an error with the battery and it won’t charge. Immediately returned this item for refund. Caveat emptor.

More torque for a longer time. What's not to like
My original batteries are a bit dated, but the torque I get out of this thing is awesome! Bought it for the Porter Cable angle grinder I got for Christmas. Seems like I just keep moving it around but works fantastic in the jigsaw and in the reciprocating saw as well.

The main grooves is to short.
It took me 20 minutes and a disposable nail file to get it to slide on my drill. I could do it again in 5 minutes now. The upper part of main grove on each side is about 1/16" too short than original battery pack. I only had sand off about a 1/32" of plastic to get it slide on all the way. Had most of its charge still on arrival which is good sign batteries are good, but have not used it much yet. ow, cutting the the nail file square at one end will help at the end of the groove.
