It is very inexpensive, and for the job of drilling into plastic, it worked just fine. Durability is a question but just match the tool to the job and it all works fine.

I don't understand why it's necessary to file the adapter to make it fit properly. Why can't the adapters be made to the proper size to start with?

I purchased these specifically because of the 1/8" shank. They do not have a 1/8" shank. It was crossed off on the card. Also the plastic would not come off the case, had to break it to get the drills out.

Bits seem great. Drilled a hole through a slice of agate for a necklace. The agate was about 3/16" thick. Diffic

Good drills. I use them to make holes in amber so I can attach a wire. Works fine (I do submerge the amber under water when I am drilling, keeps the bit cool - so far no problems).

Cheap product burned up quickly

I took a chance, I lost. The diamond dust is merely cosmetic and it wears off quickly against all but the softest metal.
